How I spent my summer

It's been HOT here!  Oy!  We were under an 'excessive heat warning' until this morning.  Which was fine for Saturday as I woke up at 5am with both eyes swollen shut.  I looked like I had black eyes, but without the color.  I took an antihistamine and went back to sleep, but when I woke up again, my eyes were still messed up. 

Today I went shopping downtown to buy a dress for a wedding on Saturday.  I found an adorable halter dress that was on sale, but I didn't have a good bra to wear with it. I went to 5 different stores looking for a bra that would work.  I finally had to go back to Macy's and return the dress.  So I am back to square one dress wise.  I'm off on Thursday, so I might try again at the mall.

THREE DAYS TILL RADIOHEAD!!!  I am so excited.  Hear me squeal!  I haven't seen them since 97, so I am totally looking forward to the concert.  Except the fact that it's on Wednesday.  Who has a concert on Wednesday?  I could understand if it was some podunk local band.  And this is the only show in Seattle.  Who knows.

I'm spending the evening putting all the songs I lost back on to my Ipod.  I had to switch from my work computer to my home computer (Which I should have done in the first place) and I lost a bunch of albums. I just had to repurchase Death Cab for Cutie's The Photo Album.  I cannot survive without that one. Definitely in my desert island collection.

Oh, that's so weird about your eyes. I hope they get better.

As for the dress, was the halter one with straps that tied in the back? I just bought a dress like that for the baptism I went to this weekend and what I actually ended up doing was pinning the straps to the back of the dress so it wasn't a halter top anymore. It looked great and I could wear a normal bra.

Ugh. So the thing with your eyes - those were just allergies? I've never had that happen. I think it would freak my out. I only get the runny/stuffy nose, sore throat, head-feels-like-a-balloon allergies.

It's been really hot here, temps over 100F. But it cooled off yesterday and it's supposed to be in the 80s all week I think.
