Soon and Direction rhyme in our fandom

Happy Memorial Day, ya'all.  Even those of you who don't celebrate it.  I can't believe I actually have Monday off.  I *never* get holidays off.  Big what-ups to my boss.  

So all my friends went off to a music festival in Central Washington.  Bjork, Beastie Boys, Spoon, Mix Master Mike, etc.  And can you believe I didn't want to go?  Just didn't feel like paying $200 to sleep on the hard ground.  I don't even have a sleeping bag yet.  I'm going to Bumpershoot Labor day weekend (Sept 1-3) to see Crowded House (OMG!!!) and I can walk home afterwards, since it's in the shadow of the Space Needle.

So- my plans for this weekend, other than catching up on my McShep fanfic.  I am going to go around town and take some pics.  Then I will post those pics here for anyone who'd like to see what's up in Seattle.  No, not that exciting, but, hey, what do you expect?  I'm bored, sober and spent all that money on the memory card for my camera that I didn't even fill.  I guess I should have taken more pics of the Vancouver convention.  As is, I think I have 75-80 shots of David, Jane and Mars.  This isn't counting all the set tour pics that I-CANNOT-POST.  Yep, they did make me sign a waver.  And I will not be the one to mess it up.
