The gray was outta control. So I got my roots touched up and my stylist added a bit more umpf to the rest of my hair.  It's kinda brassy at the moment but it will fade in a week or too and settle down.

Anyhoo- I didn't want her to cut my hair since it's just at the point where I can put it up without the sides falling down, so I told her she could style it if she wanted to.  She out of the clips and fat curling iron and went to down.  I tweeted that it was sort of a 40s pin up, but I guess it's more of a 50s pin up.  I'm tired (and boy do I look tired in this pic)

Large Pic- sorry- PB was not letting me resize )

I woke up with a dang-blasted cold this morning.  Serves me right for last night.  I sat on my deck and watched the leaves start to fall in the wind.  And I was without socks.  It was beautiful in the twilight, so I have no one to blame but myself.  My boss is worried and asked me if I want to go home, but I really don't like to leave work unless I'm running a fever or vomiting.  Damn me and my work ethic...

K and L gave me some money to buy some art for my place.  I figure it's been a year; time to get some pieces up.  This is what I bought so far.  It's by Joan Miro and I think it's beautiful:  http://www.artinthepicture.com/artists/Joan_Miro/blueII.JPG

I think it will fit in well with my Kandinsky: http://www.oaklodge.wandsworth.sch.uk/kandinsky.jpg

The one thing I didn't want is any landscapes.  Hate them.  Even Van Gogh, who does some amazing work, but any landscape puts me to sleep.

Anyone have any suggestions?  I like modern, minimalistic or Bauhaus-influenced work.

Sam is back!  The Seattle Art Museum is back and better than ever!  This past weekend, the museum had free tickets to get in.  I went with Kristen, Lennae and Eli.  The staff were dicks about Eli, tho.  1st, they made Lennae check his diaper bag, then after an hour going through the museum, they made Lennae take Eli out of the baby backpack and made he carry him.  He's 22 lbs now, so your arm got tired.  We all took turns, since if we let him down, he'd just run off to push something over.

I was impressed with the selection of modern art on show.  They have a new Warhol, Pollock, Kandisky, O'Keefe, and Jacob Lawrence.  Check it out sometime: http://www.seattleartmuseum.org/default.asp

I will have new moods real soon.  [profile] _wwsd_ made some kick-arse McKay and Sheppard moods.  I am super-dummy and cannot figure out how to get them working.  I need to spend more time on Chester (Laptop) and less time drinking beer.  Check them out!  http://users.livejournal.com/_wwsd_/  Look for May 2nd

I hope all saw David Hewlett's very humble apology for his last video.  I sure hope he learned his lesson!
