Our house in the middle of a bidding war

I just got this email from my real estate agent:

I received a e-mail from B this morning saying he had received our counter & contract, and would pass it forward. Just spoke with D, he should have something for us shortly....I believe he will make it more than 240k, not sure. I'll let you know. M

My baseline really is $240k, so anything after that would be gravy. We (Mom's estate) owes $19k for back state medical care and we owe for lawyers and real estate agents but after that, the rest is for my brother and I.
