Oy, let me take this moment to tell you how *friggin* happy I am that I am single.
I wanna go out on a Tuesday and have one too many Stellas?- No problem
Save my money and bum around Australia- Sure
Spend $500+ to go dork around at a Stargate convention- Why not?
Now, that doesn't mean I don't miss snogging or anything. It's just slim pickings here. Seattle is supposed to be some great singles mecca, but that is bull. I've lived here for over 5 years now and have gone on a total of 4 dates. And of course, I've met about 5 super hot, super nerdy/smart men and they are taken.
Maybe that's why I love getting out of the country. Last time I was in Vancouver, I had a group of 5 men from Manchester buying me drinks. And there was that guy in Melbourne who chatted me up until Ben came back from the bathroom and stood between us.
