What has Mercury been up to?  Other than sucking down a raspberry Crystal Light and trying to keep cool. 

Spent half of my Grandmother's inheritance.  On a bike.  A super fly one.  I was going to get a cheaper model, but this one is a messenger bike that is good for up and down hilly streets which is 80% Seattle, so I bought one.  Spent more than I wanted do, which is why I got the cheaper helmet and lock, but it's still awesome.

 

Here it is in my bedroom.  I rode it home Saturday and realized that I have no where to put it.  I think it will end up on my deck. I'm going to buy a cover that claims it's for all weather conditions.



Speaking of decks- my view:



It's been a really warm weekend.  The cats are not happy about it.

Bea has been hanging around the bathroom



And Simon discovered the coffee table is cooler than the carpet

Oh hey- I live about 1/2 block above where the city shoots off fireworks, so I'll get some footage of the Seattle 4th of July show.  I'm not the most patriotic person in the world, but I do love pretty 'spody things..
