Last trip for a while?
Dec. 5th, 2009 11:51 amLast night may have been my last trip for a while to Vancouver. The freeway was icy all the way back and there was a ton of spin outs. I was going at least 5-10 miles under the speed limit. No way am I gonna crash my new car.
I saw my first episode of SGU last night. My review? - MEH.
I'm not going to give any spoilers, but I will say WHERE IS THE FUN? WHERE IS THE JOY? One of the reasons I got into Stargate in the first place was how fun it was. The SG1 team knew they were in silly circumstances and didn't take things so seriously. The folks on the Destiny- no fun. I'm not gonna give it another chance. It's not Stargate. Yes- there is a gate on the ship. That's really the only similarity. Gah.
