Last night
Nov. 6th, 2009 11:05 amI'm such a weather nerd. We had a storm roll through Washington last night and around 11:40 pm, we had a cell go by. Lightning, hail and wind whipped up and hit us. Sadly, there was a fatality in North Seattle last night, as a tree split and hit a man walking under it.
The video is crappy- sorry. It was taken with my camera. But you can hear the sound of the hail. I tried to focus on the street light in front of my apartment building.
The lighting is at :48 seconds. I was looking at my camera later and I was able to slow down the DV and the lightning shot lit up the sky like daytime. Very cool.
