When you see your home town on the "Today" show, well, it kinda makes you a little nervous. Fire in the Santa Cruz Mountains! Oh shite- I used to live in the SLV area and have good friends still there in Felton and in Aptos.

Fire is way out of the area where I knew anyone. Smoke is going over the hill to San Jose (HAHAHA!) As long as it doesn't head anymore westward, we should be ok. I'm still a bit nervous, but I'll just keep an eye on things and give folks a call to check on them.
