Feb. 9th, 2008 10:55 amGreetings from Santa Cruz, CA. My old stomping grounds. I'm at my fave cafe DLing Trio. Yes- I have the iTunes subscription, so I paid for it. =) I've read a few spoilers, so I am looking foward to the episode. Rodney = amazing.
House is almost all the way cleaned out. We may have 10% left to do. We're keeping the bed and the couch until the last minute so that we have a place to sleep. Bro went to get the death certificates on Thursday, but until we talk to a lawyer/paralegal we cannot do anything.
If you have property- PLEASE HAVE A WILL. It will save your family many headaches if you pass. I don't fault my Mom for not having one, but it has complicated things. The big complication right now is that we still don't have a place to put my Mom's cats. I already have my two and cannot absorbe anymore. I really don't want to take them to the pound. I got a few numbers to call to see who will take them.
My rental car expires on the 13th and I will up one more week. That is what I am shooting for. I really need to get back home and back to work and my life. Besides, Bro needs to be back at the end of the month, and I don't want to be stuck doing all this by myself. I will keep you informed of anything.
