Real quick update

 Mom is still in ICU.  She had to have extra doses of pain medication last night, so she's still loopy today.  The staff do not want to move her into a regular ward until she gets off all IVs and stabilizes more.  Once she is in a regular ward, she can get phone calls.  I hope to call her before I leave.

Speaking of leaving- there is a pretty big snow event expected next week *after* I leave.  Well, good news for the flight but bad news for me missing snow.

karaotter- I was planning on giving you a quick phone call, but I don't remember your schedual.  Let me know when you are free.  

I cannot wait to meet all who are going to P3.  Again, I will be arriving at the Thistle on the 23rd.  I should be there around afternoon, depending on how long it takes to get through customs, the Hoppa bus and all that.  Look for me with the orange fleece.  I plan on wearing it quite a bit.

Off to my friend's birthday party.
