Jumping on the ole bandwagon

Oh, yeah, I have a Dreamwidth account. Funny dat.

I'm going to Disneyland next month! (jumps for joy) Only bad thing is two of my favorite rides will be down: Space Mountain and the Haunted Mansion. Oh well, maybe the Matterhorn will be open this time. I've been 6 times in the past and I've never ridden the damn thing because it's always out of service.

Maybe I should bring my Rodney and John dolls and take a pic on Splash Mountain.

The Shrine Panda T-shirts are back in stock, but only small and medium in women's.   I emailed them and asked them to let me know when they get more sizes.  I really one of one these!

I drove by the intersection that I ran the red light- NO CAMERAS!  I lucked out!

In my on-going attempt to spend money (which I so don't need to do since I'm not working right now) I bought a cool hat!  I can't wait to see it when it arrives.  Tell me this is not the kewlest hat evar!

School is going.  I failed my first test but only by 1 question.  So I need to retake the test tomorrow as well as this week's test.  Grrr.  I've been speaking to others in my class and it's good to know that they are as lost as I am.  The paralegal class I am taking said it was for beginner paralegals, but it's really for intermediate paralegals.  We're not really going over new items and the teacher has an attitude that we should already know how to draft a memo or whatnot.  If I fail the next test, I will call the school to complain.  Good news is I spoke to a fellow student who also failed test #1 and she said that when applying for a job, that we do not have to show a certificate, but we can say that we took this couse.  She has a BA from a university and she's never had to actually show the degree.  This made me feel a little better and calm.  I will do my best and study, but not so much that I work myself into a lather.

It's David Hewlett's birthday today!
And to celebrate- I shall go take a test...(grumble)

I started school last night.  I have a ton of homework for next class.  Good thing I have class Mon/Wed/Sat so I can take time to do the homework.  Almost half my class is getting ready for law school after the paralegal course.  My teacher got her Ph.D in sociology before attending law school.  I never thought about law school.  One step at a time, but who knows.  I find this stuff amazing.  The teacher told us that if we get an A in this class, she will set up an internship for us!  I want that!  Talk about motivation. 

So it looks like The Hew will be on "the Closer."  Never saw that show, never wanted to.  But  I will now!  I'm sure it's a great show, but I'm too busy to get into new shows right now.  I'm limiting myself to NCIS and No Reservations.
